It’s time to take the fight to the streets.
They’ve decided to only pay half of broker’s fees and have enacted a new “get tough” policy that may force HASA clients who need rental assistance or one shot deals in to drug treatment and out of their homes if they refuse.
Join us on Friday at 12pm at the South Street Seaport at the intersection of Water, Pearl, and Fulton Streets. We’re going to march over to 180 Water Street and demand a public meeting with HRA Commissioner Robert Doar–it’s time for him to answer to the community. Why does he constantly create barriers to housing for people living with AIDS when the organizations’ mission should be to house everyone?
