Brooklyn, New York City – On Friday, March 21st, 2014, the Justice for Kyam Committee organized a speak-out in memory of Kyam Livingston at the Flatbush Reformed Dutch Church. People were invited to share their experiences of the conditions in Brooklyn central booking.

Kyam Livingston, a 37 year old mom, died in Brooklyn Central Bookings after crying out in pain for 7 hours. Her pleas for medical attention were ignored. No one has been held accountable.

Organizers said the next event will be on 4/21/2014 at the corner of 18th Street and Church Ave in Flatbush. Brooklyn, NYC. Q/B trains to Church Ave. More info on Facebook.
