"Natural History". Artist Patrick Dougherty and a team of volunteers constructed a monumental woven-wood sculpture in honor of Brooklyn Botanic Garden's centennial.

On Saturday, January 8, 2011, 20 people were brutally shot in a mass-killing that injured congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords and left 6 dead including a 9 year old child. New York's community had a candle light vigil at Union Square. In this picture, Yetta Kurland and other members of the community.

On May 10th, 2011, Hollywood and Broadway stars joined forces with news anchors, entertainers, Latino health advocates, business leaders, community members and elected officials in supporting the Latino Commission at its annual gala, Cielo Latino.

Prospect Park, NYC - In July of 2010, nearly 400 Canada geese and goslings were captured, gassed and thrown into trash bags. This was the only family in 2011 and they mysteriosly desappeared from the park.
