3rd night of protests after Kimani Gray was killed by two NYPD plainclothes officers (PHOTOS/VIDEOS).

Thursday, March 14th, 2013. New York City – On Wednesday, March 13, 2013 was the 3rd night of protests over the police shooting of 16-year-old Kimani Gray. Gray was killed by two plainclothes officers who claimed he had a gun, but one witness has said Kimani Gray was unarmed.

This photo: These three people wanted to go home but NYPD officers didn't allow them to cross the police line. After like 20-30 minutes, they had to show an ID to prove that they live in the area and be able to go home.

3/13/2013 – Police officers arrested people on sidewalks
A woman called NYPD officers murderers and a few Black men asked Black officers, when a cop kills your kid, what are you going to do?


Democracy Now! reports that at least 45 people were arrested.

Next vigil/protest/march is on 3/14/13 at 7pm. 55 St and Church Ave.
2/5 trains to Church Ave then transfer to the bus B35 going to Utica Ave.
