Transgender Day of Remembrance in NYC 2014 (PHOTOS).

Tuesday, November 25th, 2014. New York City – Organizations in NYC organized events about the Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDoR), which occurs annually on November 20th. TDoR is a day to memorialize those who have been killed as a result of transphobia, or the hatred or fear of transgender and gender non-conforming people, and acts to bring attention to the continued violence endured by the transgender community.

These are pictures from some of the TDoR events in NYC.

I will have the Photography Exhibition “Past, Present & Future”, from Thursday, December 4th, 2014 to Thursday, December 18th, 2014.
I will screen, for the first time, the trailer of my newest documentary: “Phoenix: My Life Through Poetry and Activism”. The film is about Phoenix Nastasha Russell’s life. She is a Black Trans woman in NYC. Click here for more info.
