Tuesday, April 12th, 2016. New York City – A Future to Believe In GOTV Rally in Manhattan’s Washington Square Park on Wednesday, April 13th, 2016.

Join Bernie Sanders for a Washington Square Park rally featuring Special Guests Vampire Weekend and Dirty Projectors, Spike Lee, Rosario Dawson, Linda Sarsour, Tim Robbins, and Graham Nash.

This event is free and open to the public. Tickets are not required, but RSVPs are strongly encouraged. Admission is first come, first served. General admission entrances located at SW and SE corners of the park. Click here to RSVP to this event.

For security reasons, please do not bring bags and limit what you bring to small, personal items like keys and cell phones. Weapons, sharp objects, chairs, and signs or banners on sticks will not be allowed through security. Public transit is encouraged. No public parking available on site.

Bernie Sanders was a supporter of the Civil Rights Movement, and still today, he continues to support the Black, African-American community. Bernie is also a strong ally of undocumented immigrants, Muslims, Arab-Americans, Asian-Americans, LGBTQ people, women, veterans, etc.

Sanders’s campaign released a new local ad Sunday, in which the Senator re-asserts his Brooklyn roots and commitment to “Values forged in New York.” Watch it below.

Another ad:

“The people of color have a deeply vested interest in what Bernie Sanders brings to us in this election,” Belafonte begins.

Garner continues, “People like Michael Brown, Sandra Bland and my father Eric Garner.”
