International Workers’ Day (MAYDAY) in NYC 2017 (PHOTOS/VIDEOS).

Monday, May 1st, 2017. New York City – Thousands of people gathered today in Foley Square Park for a rally in support of International Workers’ Day (MAYDAY).

Organizers of the event say on their website www.MayDayNY.org, “We are a coalition of immigrant rights groups, labor, faith and allied organizations coming together to say in one voice that we stand together and we resist together. We demand that President Trump end his attacks on our immigrant, refugees and Muslim communities. We demand good jobs and the right to organize. We demand Congress pass a federal budget that reflects our priorities, that doesn’t include a single dollar for a border wall or unjust immigration enforcement.”

THANK “leftist” people for the benefits that you enjoy today.

Lunes, 1 de Mayo, 2017. Ciudad de Nueva York – Miles de personas se reunieron hoy en Foley Square Park para una manifestación en apoyo del Día Internacional de los Trabajadores (MAYDAY).

Las personas organizadoras del evento dicen en si sitio web www.MayDayNY.org, “Somos una coalición de grupos de derechos de los inmigrantes, sindicatos, grupos de fé, y aliados que se unen para decir en una voz que estamos juntos y que resistimos juntos. Exigimos que el Presidente Trump pare sus ataques en contra de nuestras comunidades inmigrantes, musulmanes y de refugiados. Exigimos buenos empleos y el derecho a organizarnos. Exigimos que el Congreso apruebe un presupuesto federal que refleje nuestras prioridades, que no incluya un solo dólar para un muro fronterizo o la aplicación injusta de las leyes migratorias.”
