The rally was in front of News Corporation (Fox News, the New York Post and The Wall Street Journal). After the rally, peaceful ANTI-GENOCIDE New Yorkers marched to Radio City Music Hall, Lenape Circle (officially called Columbus Circle), Times Square, Penn Station, Moynihan Train Hall, BlackRock, and the Vessel, where they ended the protest.
“NYPD keeps trying to silence us by banning mics, muting sound, and arresting anyone who uses one. It’s been almost two years of this. But we keep showing up for Gaza and Palestine. The more they try to silence us, the louder we’ll be,” said Within Our Lifetime during the march.

Honor the martyrs of Gaza and all of Palestine. For 77 years israel has waged genocide against the Palestinian people, and for the past two years Gaza has endured a new stage of that genocide while the world has watched it unfold live on our screens.
The media has spent these two years lying and manufacturing consent for genocide, dehumanizing Palestinians over and over. Hundreds of Palestinian journalists who livestreamed the truth and humanized their people were killed by israel. Honoring the martyrs means putting their names and stories right in front of the news outlets that erased them and forcing the truth into the spotlight they tried to bury.
Governments, including the United States, have done nothing but enable it. Let New York City echo with the names and memories of those taken by israel’s drones, bombs, bullets, prisons, and siege. Netanyahu is only one face of this genocide, a front man for a Zionist project carried forward with U.S. support. It is our duty in the belly of the beast to make clear that the people of New York City stand against genocide and Zionism.
Bring your signs, flags, banners, contingents, and your outrage to uplift the martyrs and demand justice for Palestine. And even here in New York, journalists covering this struggle are being targeted. The NYPD has raided, arrested, and even charged a reporter (Alexa Wilkinson) after a New York Times action.
