The rally was in front of the New York Public Library located in Bryant Park.

Anti-zionist Jews of Neturei Karta International attended the protest. Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss was one of the speakers.

“The people of NYC are rallying at Bryant Park NYPL Steps to recommit to the long fight towards liberation that lies ahead. After 732 days and hundreds of thousands of martyrs, a ceasefire has been announced in Gaza. As Palestinians rejoiced at the possibility of reprieve, Israel continued its bombing, killing at least 27 Palestinians across the Strip.

Our tasks as we stand side by side our people in Gaza are clear. We will continue our fight for an arms embargo, the release all our prisoners, and to reign the inevitable: Zionism’s total defeat and Palestine’s complete liberation,” said Palestinian Youth Movement on October 9, 2025.

“After 732 days, after hundreds of thousands of martyrs, a ceasefire announcement is instilling hope in Gaza for an end to the genocide. In the middle of the night, thousands of Palestinians took to the streets in elation at the news. Today, thousands in Gaza cry out, “Ceasefire! Ceasefire!” It is our responsibility to ensure that the U.S. and the occupation follow through on their terms of the agreement. It is our duty, furthermore, to ensure that this carnage cannot be repeated, and that the world never forgets what Zionism is. Join us as we uplift the people of Gaza’s joy, and recommit to the long fight ahead for a global arms embargo, the release of all our prisoners, and full liberation and return,” said the Palestinian Youth Movement before the protest.
