Some Palestinian hostages are FREE!

October 14, 2025. New York City – On Monday October 13, 2025, thousands of Palestinians celebrated the release of 1,968 Palestinian political prisoners and Palestinian hostages kidnapped by the zionist entity from the occupied West Bank, and Gaza, which Israel has been committing genocide for two years.

“Occupation forces have already begun threatening the families of the liberated prisoners, distributing leaflets ordering them not to hold celebrations, and arresting and detaining their fathers, brothers and sons in multiple invasions and attacks on villages, cities and refugee camps in the West Bank of occupied Palestine,” says Samidoun: Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network.

The release of 1,968 Palestinians were in exchange of 20 living and 28 deceased zionist prisoners of war held in Gaza.

EMPTY THE ZIONIST DUNGEONS

“EMPTY THE ZIONIST DUNGEONS: Despite open threats against public celebration, today holds a moment of collective relief and defiance for the Palestinian people. 1,968 Palestinian hostages have been announced for release and some are already free. 250 among them faced life or decades-long sentences, and another 1,718 were abducted from Gaza in the past two years and held without charge or trial.

What we are witnessing is both beautiful and devastating: an emotional, bittersweet moment as Palestinians emerge from modern-day torture camps. Many return home only to find it reduced to rubble, to learn of the martyrdom of loved ones, mourning anew. In parallel, after years apart, families are seeing one another for the first time: hugging, kissing, laughing, crying, grieving, eating together. It is a fragile joy, carved out from the cruelty of Zionism.

The freedom of Palestinian prisoners is not a gift, neither a blessing nor a miracle. It is the result of struggle, sacrifice, and the unbreakable will of a people who refuse to be erased. Political prisoners stand at the front lines of every struggle for liberation, confronting the occupier directly and bearing the costs of repression on behalf of an entire population. They embody resilience, demanding rights and dignity even from within the rigid walls of captivity. They keep the heart of the movement alive, sustaining resistance both inside and outside the prison.

As the fragile ceasefire holds, we must reject the framing that equates silence with justice and resistance with violence. True peace can only come through liberation. It is resistance that brings freedom, and it is our obligation to stand with those who carry the struggle forward across every border, against imperialism, apartheid, and occupation the world over, until every cell is emptied and every prisoner of conscience is free.

FREE THEM ALL!”_Writers Against the War on Gaza

Protest genocide profiteers in New York City

Brooklyn, NY 11205.

“Join Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard for an afternoon of COMMUNITY OUTREACH at 141 Flushing Ave (Building 77). We will be continuing our work of connecting with workers, tenants, and neighbors to grow the campaign to evict Easy Aerial and Crye Precision, two corporations that help produce drones and military equipment that have been used in the zionist genocide, from the Brooklyn Navy Yard. While news of the ceasefire is welcome, we recognize that the push to evict genocidal war profiteers out of our communities is far from over. Please join us!”_DEMILITARIZE BROOKLYN NAVY YARD!

Rally against Mini-Circuits.
Friday, October 17th, 2025. 4 pm.
13 Neptune Ave. Brooklyn, NY 11235.
Take the B or Q train to Sheepshead Bay Station.

“A company named Mini-Circuits, headquartered in Brooklyn, manufactures radar and microwave components that power the zionist war machine.

This radar technology being manufactured is critical to carrying out the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The brutal massacres you see on your feed everyday start right here in our neighborhood.”_Palestinian Assembly for Liberation

NO BUSINESS AS USUAL FOR WAR PROFITEERS
Saturday, October 18th, 2025. 1:00-4:00 pm.
141 Flushing Ave (Building 77).
Brooklyn, NY 11205.

We call on all New Yorkers of conscience to join us to DISRUPT Brooklyn Navy Yard’s Annual Open House on Sat October 18th.

Brooklyn Navy Yard leases space to weapons manufacturers, Crye Precision and Easy Aerial, who directly profit from the ongoing genocide of the Palestinian people in Gaza, the terrorizing of families and community members by I.C.E., and the surveillance of BIPOC New Yorkers by NYPD.

NO PEACE WITHOUT JUSTICE— the start of a ceasefire is a not the slow down of our organizing but a time to escalate for true justice, liberation, and freedom. We DO NOT want weapon manufactures in our community or ANY community across the globe. We refuse surveillance of all peoples. We refuse a militarized Turtle Island.

Led by CEO Lindsay Greene and Board Chair Hank Gutman, BNY’s ‘Open House’ event is major commercial and PR investment to hide behind artistic and community-centered values while in reality choosing profit over people.

Join us to make sure that every single person who attends this event knows that BNY has blood on its hands — and that genocidal weapons manufacturers like Crye Precision and Easy Aerial are not welcome in our communities!”_DEMILITARIZE BROOKLYN NAVY YARD!
