Alex Jeffrey Pretti was EXECUTED by at least two Patrol Border agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota, while he was on the streets protecting migrants, on January 24, 2026.
Alex Jeffrey Pretti, 37, was an intensive care nurse at a Veteran’s hospital who cared deeply about people and was upset by President Donald Trump’s immigration crackdown. Alex Pretti was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed going outdoors with Joule, his beloved Catahoula Leopard dog, who died about a year ago.
Alex Pretti participated in protests following the EXECUTION of Renee Nicole Good by Jonathan Ross, an Immigration and Customs officer (ICE), while she was on the streets protecting migrants, on January 7, 2026. Pretti’s ex-wife, told the AP, Alex participated in the protests following the murder of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer in 2020.

Peaceful protesters advocating for migrants gathered in Foley Square. After the rally, New Yorkers marched to the Hilton hotel, located at 39 Avenue of the Americas (6th Ave) in Tribeca.
At least 65 protesters occupied the Hilton hotel lobby. Migrant protectors demanded that the Hilton hotel stop housing agents from Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
While New Yorkers supporting migrants were inside the Hilton hotel lobby, hundreds of other protesters were outside the hotel in solidarity with those inside.
New York City mayor, Zohran Kwame Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist, New York City Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner Jessica Tisch, a zionist, NYPD officers arrested at least 65 protesters who were peacefully occupying the Hilton hotel lobby. Those arrested were transported in two NYPD buses.
“Today the NYPD deployed the Strategic Response Group (SRG) to harass + arrest striking @teamsters. As Mayor, I will disband the SRG, which has cost taxpayers millions in lawsuit settlements + brutalized countless New Yorkers exercising their first amendment rights,” said Zohran Kwame Mamdani on December 19, 2024 (a member of the Democratic Party and the Democratic Socialists of America, Mamdani served from 2021 to 2025 as a member of the New York State Assembly for the 36th district, representing Astoria, Queens).

During his campaign, Zohran said he was going to disband the violent Strategic Response Group (SRG), but on January 27, 2026, the SRG arrested at least 65 migrant protectors.
