People gathered in Times Square. After the rally, supporters of president Nicolás Maduro and first combatant Cilia Flores, marched to the front of the building located at 1221 Avenue of the Americas or 6th Ave, where some people spoke. After the rally in front of the building, people marched to the monument of Simon Bolivar located in Central Park (59 Street and Avenue of the Americas), where more people spoke in support of president Nicolás Maduro and Cilia Flores. They ended the protest and invited New Yorkers to their next demonstration.

Peaceful protesters were marching in the street for a few minutes. New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers threatened to arrest those marching peacefully. Zohran Mamdani, Bernie Sanders, and other politicians from the Democratic Party and Republican Party said that President Nicolás Maduro was a “dictator.” Democrat and republican politicians in the United States of America have no moral authority to attack politicians in other countries.

The Joe Biden and Kamala Harris administration offered a reward of up to $25 million on January 10, 2025 for information leading to Maduro’s arrest. That reward was raised to $50 million by the government of Donald Trump and JD Vance in August 2025.
