LGBTQ+ people and their allies gathered inside Joyce Kilmer Park (161 Street and Grand Concourse). After the rally, they marched to the Bronx Pride Festival and ended the march at the Bronx Mutual Aid site outside St. Mary’s Park in the South Bronx.

“yesterday we marched. the 2nd annual people’s pride march against pinkwashing, displacement and genocide in the bronx, alongside @armthedollz, @jupi.bx and @aejc_ny. a march for trans and queer liberation, and a celebration of resistance to colonialism and US-led Western imperialism.
we opened with a rally against the bronx pride march led by rabid zionist vanessa gibson, who welcomes cops, colonizers and corporations to pride. we reject a pride that normalizes the genocide and displacement of black and brown bronxites. bronxites resisting, just like the Palestinians in Gaza, the people of south Lebanon, Puerto Rico, Cuba, Venezuela, Burkina Faso, and the heroic people of Iran.
we marched straight through it and told the cops to get the f*ck out of pride. we reminded the bronx that pride was a riot.
we ended where we always do, at our distro, feeding 300+ neighbors and families: jerk chicken, rice, macaroni salad, and of course groceries. because feeding the people has to be paired with direct action and revolutionary political education.
and we must always remember: black, brown and indigenous queer and trans people will be the leaders of revolution.
only the people can liberate themselves.

New York City Dyke March
The NYC Dyke March is scheduled for Saturday, June 27, 2026. The grassroots, all-volunteer protest will step off at 5:00 PM from Bryant Park and will march down Fifth Avenue to Washington Square Park.
The Dyke March operates without city permits or corporate sponsorships. Organizers emphasize it as an expression of First Amendment rights rather than a standard parade.
8th Annual Queer Liberation March
The 8th Annual Queer Liberation March will be on Sunday, June 28, 2026. People will gather at 2:30 PM in Union Square. They will start marching at 3 PM. The march will end in Foley Square.
Organized by the Reclaim Pride Coalition, this demonstration intentionally rejects corporate sponsorship and NYPD police involvement, aiming to honor the radical, activist roots of the Stonewall Riots.
