“This Saturday! Show out, fill the streets! Protest the sanctions on Cuba that have recently forced the nation to reshape their model, against the will of the Cuban people. This retreat comes as Trump sanctions state owned enterprises and Cuba’s mining sector- an escalation in his and Rubio’s campaign against the island. The blockage continues the humanitarian and economic crisis upon a nation that always has shown its solidarity with Americans, and all nations across the globe. We as working people in the US must support Cuba and fight the forces that seek to drown the island. Demand an end to this siege. #CubaSiBloqueoNo cubasinynjcoalition.org,” said the Cuba Sí NY/NJ Coalition on June 24, 2026.
“The New York-New Jersey Cuba Sí Coalition (Cuba Sí NY/NJ Coalition) unites activists against 64 years of U.S. economic and political warfare on Cuba. We fight for normalized relations, opposing sanctions and the unjust designation of Cuba to the State Sponsors of Terrorism (SSOT) list,” said the New York-New Jersey Cuba Sí Coalition on Instagram on October 6, 2024.
Their demands:
End the Illegal Blockade on Cuba!
Remove Cuba from the SSOT List!
Return Guantanamo Bay to Cuba!
