New York City mayor, Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) Zohran Kwame Mamdani, is using the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to protect genocide and deportation profiteers, to protect zionist Jews selling and buying stolen Palestinian land inside synagogues. Zohran Mamdani is the boss of NYPD officers.

On Friday, August 21, 2026, Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard (DBNY) shared photos by Graham MacIndoe and said, “DBNY held a picket on Wednesday August 19th, outside of Building 77 at the Brooklyn Navy Yard (BNY) as part of our weekly actions. Protestors, BNY workers, and neighbors who joined the picket stayed for over 2 hours to disrupt business as usual–making noise and flyering. Instead of listening to the demands of the people, the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) refuses to take action against one of their tenants, Crye Precision. This company supplies ICE and the IOF, contributing to violence against our communities here and abroad. At the picket there were at least 6 NYPD cars along Flushing Avenue, with SRG officers stationed inside with BNY security. The BNYDC and the City of New York continue to use the NYPD to protect genocide and deportation profiteers.
DBNY knows how the struggle for Palestinian liberation connects to the struggle here in Lenapehoking. The same surveillance tactics that are used against Palestinians by the IOF is used against protestors by the NYPD TARU unit and their drones. The IOF trains the NYPD and they bring the same repressive tactics here against protestors and Black and Brown communities. DBNY will not stop and will not rest until Crye Precision is kicked out and the Navy Yard is demilitarized.

After 17 months of protesting, in February 2026, Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard (DBNY) forced the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) to evict weapons manufacturer, Easy Aerial, supplier of U.S. Customs and Border Patrol (CBP), the Israel Occupation Forces (IOF), Elbit Systems, United States Department of Defense (DoD), and Israel Aero Industries. In 2022, Easy Aerial lobbied former NYC mayor, zionist, corrupt Eric Adams and the New York City Police Department (NYPD) to use its drones to spy New Yorkers.
On February 13, 2026, Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard said, “We forced weapons manufacturer, Easy Aerial, supplier of CBP, the IOF, Elbit Systems, DoD, and Israel Aero Industries out of BNY at Building 77. Easy Aerial also lobbied NYPD to start deploying drones to surveil New Yorkers in 2022.”
DBNY added, “We will keep fighting until the Brooklyn Navy Yard is demilitarized, ICE and IOF suppliers are out of New York, and the resistance continues until Palestine is FREE!” Click here to read their full statement.
On April 8, 2025, the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) said, “State and local government agencies across New York State are deploying legions of highly advanced, hyper invasive drones with the capacity to spy on and surveil New Yorkers.”
The NYCLU added, “The New York City Police Department increased its arsenal from 19 active registrations to a whopping 99, an increase of 421 percent.”
NYPD officers use Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), more commonly known as drones, to spy on peaceful protests, parades (J’Ouvert Festival, Pride Parade, etc.), other events and NYC residents in different neighborhoods in NYC (apparently, the NYPD primarily utilizes drones from manufacturers like DJI and Skydio).
“DBNY’s other primary target is Crye Precision, a tactical uniform manufacturer that licenses camouflage technology to a supplier for the Israeli military, and has numerous DHS contracts, including a recent “rapid order” worth $40,000 to supply CBP agents operating in Maine with Crye Precision cold weather apparel. The federal agents who murdered Alex Pretti in Minneapolis appear to be wearing Crye Precision equipment,” wrote Joseph Mogul on Truthout on March 28, 2026.
On July 21, 2026, Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard said, “u.s. soldiers wear Crye while they kidnap foreign leaders and bomb civilians in Iran. IOF soldiers wear Crye as they assassinate Palestinians and carry out genocide. ICE agents wear Crye as they brutalize and murder our neighbors.”
Activists demand that Brooklyn Navy Yard stop producing military equipment for the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the U.S. military and the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Peaceful pro-Palestine, anti-genocide New Yorkers have been protesting against Mini-Circuits, another genocide, war profiteer in Brooklyn, New York City.
A “genocide profiteer” is a political or economic term used to describe a corporation, institution, or individual that financial gains or material benefits from a military conflict, occupation, or state action accused of being a genocide.
A “deportation profiteer” is a private corporation, contractor, investor that makes financial gains from immigration enforcement, immigrant detention, and deportation operations. Billions in taxpayers funding fuel an extensive industry that relies on arrests and detentions for profit. Mass deportation is big business.
The expressions “genocide profiteer,” “deportation profiteer,” “war profiteer,” “war machine” and “deportation machine” are frequently used by human rights organizations, protesters, and political groups.

“DBNY’s April 1st disruption of Crye Precision and the BNYDC board meeting exposed the collusion between the Navy Yard and the NYPD. Instead of listening to neighbors, workers and community members, BNYDC chooses to further militarize public spaces making them hostile and inhospitable for everyday people. Starting the night before, NYPD was guarding the entrances to the Navy Yard getting paid by our taxes to act as private security. The pigs arrested two activists brutally, rather than arresting the war criminals at Crye Precision for their violations of human rights.

Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard is a grassroots campaign committed to disrupting the operations of all genocide and ICE profiteers. We have been organizing since September 2024 to pressure the Brooklyn Navy Yard Development Corporation (BNYDC) to terminate their leases with two tenants, Crye Precision and Easy Aerial, who manufacture drones, tactical gear and other weapons tech for the “israeli” Occupation Forces (IOF) and ICE/CBP. On February 11th, after over a year of sustained pressure from our Demilitarize Brooklyn Navy Yard (DBNY) campaign, the BNYDC board declined to renew Easy Aerial’s lease. We will continue fighting and escalating the pressure on Crye Precision, who supply genocide and ICE, until we shut it down.
