Wednesday, April 22, 2020. New York City – The Brooklyn Pride Parade and all other non-essential events in June have been cancelled to stop the spread of COVID-19, NYC Mayor Bill de Blasio announced on Monday, April 20, 2020.
According to data from Johns Hopkins University, almost 15,000 people have died of COVID-19 in New York City. More than 45,000 people have died in the United States of America. New York City is the epicenter of COVID-19. The United States of America is now at the heart of the global coronavirus crisis.
