“We are here today to honor and remember the Palestinian Political Prisoners previously and currently being held hostage in isreali torture camps.
There are over 10,000 Palestinian prisoners currently being held in israeli torture prisons, including over 400 children. All are held under the military court system, run exclusively by OF (isreali Occupation Forces) soldiers, with a staggering 99% conviction rate. According to firsthand testimony and several human rights organizations, Torture, Rape, Starvation, and Dehumanization are systemic and rampant throughout these prisons.
Conditions in these isreali torture camps are well documented and have been ongoing since the Zionist occupation of Palestine in 1948. Over 100 Palestinian prisoners have died in custody within the last 2 years. Since October 2023, the IOF has significantly stepped up their abuse of detainees.
The level of abuse is staggering for most to comprehend. It is deranged, sadistic and inhumane!
Today, on Palestinian Prisoners Day, we demand the immediate release of ALL Palestinian Political Prisoners and an end to the new draconian isreali Execution Law. We implore you to act in the name of HUMANITY,” said the Palestinian Assembly for Liberation [PAL]-Awda LI Chapter on April 18, 2026.

Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Manhattan, New York City – Palestinians, anti-Zionist Jews, Latino people, and other supporters of Palestine held a rally in front of the Zionist mission (Israeli consulate) at 800 Second Avenue, in Manhattan, New York City. After the rally, they marched through different streets until they reached the corner of East 59th Street and 5th Avenue, in the same borough of Manhattan, where they ended the demonstration.
