Protestors demand, “NO FUNDING FOR KILLER COPS, COMMUNITY CONTROL, NOT BILLIONAIRE CONTROL, JUSTICE FOR EUDES PIERRE AND ALL VICTIMS OF POLICE CRIMES!”

The rally was across the street from the Intrepid Museum (Pier 86. W 46th St and 12th Ave). After the rally, New Yorkers marched to 10 Ave and West 47 Street, where they ended the protest.

Some of the endorsing organizations: Juventud Unida por la Independencia (JUPI), Justice For Eudes Pierre Coalition, NYU chapter of the Students for a Democratic Society, Brooklyn Against War, Freedom Road Socialist (FRSO) in New York City, FOR the people-BY the people!

Brooklyn Against War invited to their event about Venezuela. Featuring Steve Ellner. Saturday, June 6, 2026. 2 PM. Bedford Library | Brooklyn Public Library. 496 Franklin Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11238.

On December 20, 2021, Eudes Pierre, 26, from Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was shot 10 times and murdered by New York City Police Department (NYPD) officers Peter Lan (badge no. 8058, now with the NYPD Intelligence Bureau) and Conrado Abreu-Gerez (badge no. 6458, still at the 71st).

On June 5, 2026, the New York Alliance shared pictures on instagram with the message, “Thanks to everyone who joined us to Shut Down the Police Gala! NO PARTIES FOR PIGS!”

“Every year, the NYPD and their billionaire funders raise millions of dollars through the NYC Police Foundation Gala. This money is on top of their $11 billion budget, is accountable to no one, and pays for new weapons and surveillance with no oversight,” said the New York Alliance on June 5, 2026.

The New York Alliance added, “So long as they continue to line their pockets while killing our people, the New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression will be there to shut that shit down!”

“The New York Alliance hosted our first art build in preparation for our annual protest at the New York City Police Foundation Gala!

Every year, millionaires and billionaires raise millions in unaccountble money for the NYPD. This money pays for new weapons, surveillance technology, and programs like the NYPD’s liaisons with ICE, Border Patrol, and the Israeli National Police.

The NYPD throws itself a party as it assaults, brutalizes, and murders the people of this city. New York says no parties for pigs, and no money for killer cops!” said the New York Alliance on April 27, 2026.

The New York Alliance is an organization dedicated to fighting police crimes and brutality in NYC.
