The mainstream media say that the New York City Police Department (NYPD) denied its permit. Zohran Mamdani controls the NYPD. Mamdani is the boss of the NYPD Commissioner, zionist Jessica Tisch and NYPD officers. Instead of a parade, people from Trinidad and Tobago and their allies will have a march.

NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani, NYPD Commissioner zionist Jessica Tisch did not approve the permit for the Trinidad and Tobago Independence Day Parade, but they approve the permit for a pro-genocide, zionist parade.

“COME OUT & WALK WITH US — PEACE, UNITY & CULTURE!

Come out to our rally! Meet-up time: 2:30 PM. We’ll be walking together straight down to Prospect Park.

LET’S KEEP IT SAFE. LET’S KEEP IT FUN. LET’S KEEP IT MOVING.

This walk is about bringing awareness that every culture deserves an equal opportunity to celebrate its Independence and represent its history and heritage. This is NOT a competition! Every country brings something unique, every culture has a story, and everybody deserves a chance to celebrate theirs.

We’re asking our city leaders, including Mayor Mamdani, to hear us: let’s keep it fair and give everyone an equal chance.

Bring your flags, bring your energy, and most importantly, bring PEACE.

LET’S WALK IN PEACE. LET’S MARCH IN PEACE. LET’S CELEBRATE IN PEACE,” said Shyanne Muhammad on August 29, 2026.

“Protests/Demonstrations Without a Permit: Non-permitted demonstrations are an essential part of protest,” says the New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) on its website.

The NYCLU adds, “You do not need a permit to:
Hold signs or distribute flyers or leaflets on a public sidewalk or in a public park.
Hold a demonstration, rally, or press conference on a public sidewalk, where foot traffic is not substantially impeded.
March on a public sidewalk without amplified sound.
Film protest or police activity if you maintain enough distance not to interfere with police activity. Police officers may not delete data under any circumstances and may not take or demand to view your photographs or video without a warrant.”

The zionist, apartheid, terrorist, fascist state of Israel had a parade in Manhattan, on Sunday, May 31, 2026. NYPD Commissioner, zionist Jessica Tisch marched proudly as an honorary grand marshal of the parade. Tisch described the parade as “one of the most joyful days of the year.”

The zionist parade came as the U.S. and Israel wage a joint war on Iran and following almost tree years of the new Israel’s genocide and ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the occupied West Bank, Palestine. Israel is also committing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Lebanon. Israel is sealing land in Palestine, Lebanon and Syria.

The Israel parade was also attended by New York Governor, zionist Kathy Hochul, U.S. Senator, zionist Chuck Schumer, New York Attorney General, zionist Letitia James, and former mayors, zionists Eric Adams and Michael Bloomberg.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani did not attend the pro-genocide parade, marking the first time a sitting NYC mayor skipped the zionist event, citing his opposition to the Israeli government.

The parade drew opposition from anti-zionist Jews members of Neturei Karta International who had a counter-demonstration.

Anti-zionist Jews carried banners reading “Jews Worldwide Mourn 78 Years of the Existence of Israel,” “Authentic Rabbis Always Against Zionism and the State of Israel”, etc. They burned the Israel flag.

Far-right Israeli ministers, war criminals, terrorists committing genocide and ethnic cleansing in Palestine and Lebanon attended the Israel Day Parade.

The New Arab Staff reported on June 1, 2026, “Among the Israeli officials attending was far-right Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, who has repeatedly called for the destruction of Gaza, denied the existence of a Palestinian people and advocated annexing the occupied West Bank.”

The New Arab also reported, “Joining him was Yitzhak Wasserlauf, a member of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party, who has previously drawn criticism for remarks widely interpreted as encouraging violence against Palestinian civilians in Gaza.

Heritage Minister Amihai Eliyahu also took part in the parade. Eliyahu has called for Gaza to be “erased” and repopulated by Jews, opposes the establishment of a Palestinian state and supports Israeli annexation of the occupied West Bank.

Likud lawmaker Ariel Kellner, who previously called for a new Nakba in Gaza and supports Israeli settlement expansion into southern Lebanon, was also among those marching.

Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana participated as well, having previously endorsed US President Donald Trump’s proposal to redevelop Gaza and relocate its Palestinian population, describing the plan as a “bold, new vision”.”
