Es la primera vez que asistimos a un evento de la comunidad gay. Nos orgullese estar presente. Nos pareció muy importante las charlas sobre la homofobia y lesbofobia. Esperamos seguir apoyando cualquier evento en el futuro. ¡Sigan Adelante!

Antes que nada quiero felicitar a todos los organizadores de este bello programa que aparte de ser bello es muy educativo. Yó en lo personal quisiera poder apoyar a parar todo tipo de discriminación que existe no solo en NY sino, en todo el mundo entero, porque nadie es diferente, somos todos iguales. La sociedad no acepta que estan viviendo en el siglo XXI. ¡Ya es hora de decir basta!

In fact, your photos can be compiled and distributed as a compendium or collection of your niche interests (activism, or floral work, etc) that can be sold in effort to raise money for Mexico. Very informative about: HIV, Homo/Lesbo, Phobia and Homosexuality. Very interesting: the poetry reading, the folklore dancing, the dancer, the singer and all the artists. Good food!
Javier- Gracias por invitarme. I enjoyed it a lot, the dancers were wonderful and spirit inspiring, the art was good and I liked the presentation a lot. I imagine you did a lot of work in order to get it all together.

It was great. The guy who did the “History of Homophobia” should be a professor on TV, he was so smart! Art was varied and great. An amazing mixed of gay and straight together. The Mexican dancers were great.
When I walked into the event there were a number of young, alone, shy men outside. They looked to me to be young, gay Latinos trying to get up the courage to come upstairs. Of course I throw open the door, smile broadly and say, “This is the place! Come on up!”
I was very happy to see them there. It reminded me of how hard it was to come out as a youth and how great it was to have safe, gay space for them. I was particularly glad there wasn’t alcohol and it was a mellower scene to be coming out in, and that it was straight and gay mixed so they could see that some straight people were cool and the straight people could see how cool gay people are.
The presentation on lesbophobia was good and it was good that Antonieta Gimeno encouraged audience participation.
We loved the exhibition, the dancing, guitar music, and poetry reading. We hope to come for more events. Congratulations in putting it all together.
I really enjoyed the program. I think we need more of these organized events to educate our community about homophobia. Thanks for your efforts.
