AG Paxton Sues Battleground States for Unconstitutional Changes to 2020 Election Laws.

Tuesday, December 8, 2020. New York City – The general election in the United States of America were on Tuesday, November 3, 2020. Today, December 8, is the so-called safe harbor deadline, the day that federal law requires all states to certify their results for the presidential election. 270 votes are needed to claim the White House and be the next president of this country.

Today, Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton filed a lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the United States Supreme Court. Read the press release below.

In 2016, the Democratic Party, Hillary Clinton, her supporters and other Democrats said Donald Trump won because Russia helped him.

In 2020, The Republican Party, Donald Trump, his supporters and other Republicans do not agree with the election results.

Is the United States of America a democracy or an oligarchy?

Luke Savage wrote the article “America Is an Oligarchy. It Doesn’t Have to Be.” It says in part, “Just three billionaires own more wealth than the 160 million poorest Americans combined and the wealthiest of them — Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos — pockets more money every sixty seconds than the typical American household earns in a year and a half.

Disorientingly caught between rising skyscrapers, burgeoning technology giants, crumbling public infrastructure, and a steadily narrowing strata of plutocrats, some forty million people (many of them children) live in poverty as tens of millions more struggle to afford the basic necessities of life. While American workers across every sector are increasingly overworked and underpaid, thousands die from lack of health insurance or go broke trying to pay for treatment. Racial discrimination, meanwhile, remains a constitutive part of a criminal justice system that needlessly keeps more than two million people behind bars and routinely allows police to kill with impunity.

Nowhere is this more visible than when it comes to America’s campaign finance system, essentially set up to sell the legislative process to the highest bidder and make certain anyone even thinking about running for office receives a thorough vetting by big money. By allowing billionaires, corporations, and shadowy movements of capital to dominate elections, those at the top can effectively rig the system to reproduce their own interests in perpetuity — whether protecting their own wealth or preserving whatever conditions enabled them to amass it in the first place.”

Sergio Alejandro Gómez wrote the article “The United States is an oligarchy, not a democracy.” In part it says, “The country that presents itself as a universal model of democracy does not meet the basic standards of a system in which the majority makes decisions.

“The government of the rich, by the rich, and for the rich.” By replacing the term “people” in Abraham Lincoln’s well-known phrase with those who have real power in the United States, we gain a more exact idea of how U.S. politics and society work.”

The United States of America is an oligarchy. Why Democrats and Republicans preach about democracy to other countries?

In a real democracy, all presidential candidates should be allow to participate in the presidential debates. In the United States of America, only the Democrat presidential candidate and the Republican presidential candidate participate in the general election presidential debates every four years. The Green Party presidential candidate and the Libertarian Party presidential candidate should participate in the debates.

The United States of America is an oligarchy, but Democrats and Republicans want to preach about democracy to Venezuela, Cuba, Iran and many other countries.

Rich people buy Republican and Democrat politicians in the United States of America like pan caliente. Politicians in our country are some of the most corrupt politicians in the world.

Most Democrat and Republican politicians in New York State are just as corrupt as politicians in other states in the country.

“God Bless Texas”?

Trump supporters have been using the hashtag “God Bless Texas” on Twitter to show support to Texas AG Ken Paxton and Donald Trump.

On Twitter I said, “Texas was STOLEN from Mexico. If Texas is RETURNED to Mexico NOW! Then I will say “God Bless Texas”.”

A Trump supporter responded to my tweet saying, “Please read a texas history book”. Should I read a book written by white supremacists? Should I read a book written by someone who supported the invasion of Mexico and the stolen of Mexican land?

Another Trump supporter said, “Texas declared and fought for its independence. How was it stolen?” This man does not know that when James Polk was running for president, he supported the “expansion” of U.S. territories into Mexico. In other words, James Polk wanted to steal Mexican land, just like other white people stole Native Americans’ land.

Did the United States of America steal land from Mexico?

Today is a good opportunity to remind people that Texas, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, and California were stolen from Mexico.

“Did you know that until 1848 California, New Mexico and other portions of the Southwest were internationally recognized provinces of free Mexico, until the U.S. decided it wanted those provinces, declared war on Mexico, and stole them?” Click here to read more.

Press release by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton.

“Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton today filed a lawsuit against Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin in the United States Supreme Court. The four states exploited the COVID-19 pandemic to justify ignoring federal and state election laws and unlawfully enacting last-minute changes, thus skewing the results of the 2020 General Election. The battleground states flooded their people with unlawful ballot applications and ballots while ignoring statutory requirements as to how they were received, evaluated and counted.

“Trust in the integrity of our election processes is sacrosanct and binds our citizenry and the States in this Union together. Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin destroyed that trust and compromised the security and integrity of the 2020 election. The states violated statutes enacted by their duly elected legislatures, thereby violating the Constitution. By ignoring both state and federal law, these states have not only tainted the integrity of their own citizens’ vote, but of Texas and every other state that held lawful elections,” said Attorney General Paxton. “Their failure to abide by the rule of law casts a dark shadow of doubt over the outcome of the entire election. We now ask that the Supreme Court step in to correct this egregious error.”

Elections for federal office must comport with federal constitutional standards. For presidential elections, each state must appoint its electors to the electoral college in a manner that complies with the Constitution. The Electors Clause requirement that only state legislatures may set the rules governing the appointment of electors and elections and cannot be delegated to local officials. The majority of the rushed decisions, made by local officials, were not approved by the state legislatures, thereby circumventing the Constitution.”
