Background: Home care workers in NYC are forced to work brutal 24-hour shifts for only 13 hours of pay. These torturous conditions rob them of their health and lives, while also endangering the lives of their patients. The 24-hour workday is racist sexist violence that hurts all New Yorkers. It sets a dangerous precedent that all of our health, our time and our families can be sacrificed for profit.

“On February 28th, the U.S. bombed a girls’ primary school in Minab, Iran. Then it bombed the same building again as parents ran toward it. 168 people killed, most of them children.

July 28th marks five months. They are still recovering bodies.

Minab was an act of terrorism by the U.S., and it was not the only one. Since February 28th the United States has bombed hospitals, bridges, railroads, and desalination plants across Iran. It waits until cars are on the bridge, then fires, killing whole families. It has assassinated IRGC commanders and Iran’s political leadership. Right now it is bombing southern Iran to prepare a ground invasion.

Washington is doing this because regime change failed. The largest funeral in world history, for martyr Ayatollah Sayyid Ali Khamenei, showed everyone where Iranians actually stand. For 150 days they have been in the streets every single day defending their country.

This did not start with Trump. This is U.S. policy, and has been since 1979, when Iranians overthrew U.S. control and took back their oil, their land, their waterways.

The United States traveled thousands of miles to attack a country that never attacked it. Iran has every right to resist, and we stand with the Iranian people.
