Friday, June 26, 2020. New York City – Yesterday, Thursday, June 25, 2020, I went to cover the rally and march “Fund Communities, Not Cops” and I saw the rally “Invest In East New York. Defund The NYPD!” in City Hall Park in Manhattan, New York City.
Protestors demand NYC Council members, Corey David Johnson, Speaker of the New York City Council and NYC Mayor, Bill de Blasio Defund The NYPD by at least $1 billion and invest in their community.
