Today was the Grand Jury announcement in Louisville, Kentucky. No officers were charged directly with killing Breonna Taylor.
Attorney Ben Crump, who is representing the family of Breonna Taylor, said that the grand jury announcement was “outrageous and offensive.”
Today is the 15th anniversary of the assassination of Comandante Filiberto Ojeda Ríos by the FBI.
Filiberto Ojeda Ríos was born on April 26, 1933 and died on September 23, 2005. Filiberto was the commander-in-chief (“Responsable General”) of the Boricua Popular Army (Ejército Popular Boricua, a.k.a., Los Macheteros), a group that campaigned for the independence of Puerto Rico from the United States. Ojeda Ríos was also a member of the FALN.
On September 23, 2005, he was killed by FBI agents after they surrounded the house in Hormigueros, Puerto Rico, where he was living.
The Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Civil Rights Commission conducted its own investigation of the incident and issued a report on September 22, 2011 wherein the Commission called Ojeda Ríos’s death an “illegal killing”.
U. S. police officers kill people in the country. Thanks to George Bush, Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, and other Republican and Democrat politicians, U.S. soldiers killed thousands and thousands of innocent men, women and children in Iraq and other countries.
The illusion of choice. Corrupt, warmonger Republican politicians and corrupt, warmonger Democrat politicians gave us Donald Trump. They are all on the same team: Oligarchy. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are part of that team.
