JUSTICE FOR EUDES PIERRE!

Thursday, October 29, 2026. Occupied Éenda-Lunaapeewáhkiing/Lenapehoking (New York City). – The monthly protest to demand “JUSTICE FOR EUDES PIERRE!” at the 71st Precinct (Empire Blvd & New York Ave) in Brooklyn, New York City, organized by the New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression will be on Thursday, October 29, 2026. 6PM.

I cover protests, events that the corporate, imperialist, pro-zionist mainstream media usually do not cover. If you value my independent journalism work, please support me with a donation of any amount here: www.javiersoriano.com/donate.

“Eudes Pierre was murdered at age 26 by cops Conrado Abreu-Gerez and Peter Lan in December 2021, and the killer cops have seen no consequences. The New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression and the family of Eudes Pierre have been fighting to get these killer cops fired and prosecuted,” says the New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression.

“Our next protest at the 71st Precinct will be on Thursday, October 29th! Join us to fight alongside the family of Eudes Pierre and to prove that NYPD intimidation won’t silence us! SEE YOU IN THE STREETS!” said the New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression on September 28, 2026.

The New York City Police Department (NYPD) arrested Jamie Kowalski and Daniel Koh, two organizers with the New York Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression in their homes in Brooklyn on Tuesday, October 20, 2026.

I covered the protest outside the Central Booking building to demand the release of Jamie Kowalski and Daniel Koh on October 20, 2026.

New York City Mayor, Democratic Socialist of America (DSA) Zohran Kwame Mamdani controls the NYPD. Mamdani is the boss of NYPD Commissioner, zionist Jessica Tisch and NYPD officers. Zohran Mamdani and zionist Jessica Tisch are members of the Democratic Party.

After their arraignment, Kowalski and Koh were released under supervision and are scheduled to return to court in December 2026.

The arrests followed community flyering campaigns featuring the photo and badge number of NYPD killer officer Conrado Abreu-Gerez with the text “A killer cop lives here” referencing the 2021 murder of Eudes Pierre in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, New York City.

In New York City, many people put up flyers and stickers in various public places. If the NYPD arrested these two activists for putting up flyers—while others who do the same are not arrested—then it appears the NYPD is attempting to intimidate and silence Pierre’s family, as well as the peaceful protesters who are demanding justice for Eudes Pierre.

Both activists were charged with stalking and harassment (with a top charge as a class B misdemeanor punishable by up to three months in jail).

On October 26, 2026, Ben Feuerherd published the article “‘A killer cop lives here’: Brooklyn arrests raise questions about limits of free speech” on gothamist.com.

“The criminal case against the two is a test of the right to protest police officers. While the NYPD and the Brooklyn district attorney’s office say there’s evidence they committed the crimes, two First Amendment scholars and an attorney who reviewed the case said the allegations likely do not meet the legal threshold for stalking and harassment,” writes Ben Feuerherd.

Eugene Volokh, a First Amendment expert and professor emeritus at UCLA School of Law, reviewed the charges, the fliers and statements from the NYPD and said he does not think the two should be charged with those crimes.

David Hudson, another prominent First Amendment scholar and fellow at the Freedom Forum, reviewed the NYPD’s explanation of the charges and said posting such fliers is likely protected speech.

Criminal defense attorney Ron Kuby said, “In the United States of America, people are free to write and say nasty, nasty things about other people without it rising to the level of criminal conduct,” Kuby said. “That’s all protected by the First Amendment.”
