Soy un Artista, Fotografo, Activista, Educador, Videografo, etc... Mexicano. Uso my arte para educar a mi comunidad en temas como el VIH/SIDA, Cancer, Derechos de los Inmigrantes, Homofobia y otros. Mi trabajo de arte ha sido publicado por diferentes medios y exhibido en museos, galerias y otros centros de arte.

En el año 2001, fundé Mexicanos Unidos un grupo sin fines de lucro que sirve a la comunidad Mexicana/Latina de la Ciudad de Nueva York. Nuestra Misión es la prevención del VIH/SIDA a travéz de la Educación, referidos y abogacia.

I am a Mexican Artist, photographer, Activist, Educator. I use my art to educate my community on topics like HIV/AIDS, Cancer, Immigrants Rights and Homophobia and others. My artwork has been published by the media and exhibited in Museums, galleries and art centers.

In the year 2001, I founded Mexicanos Unidos a non-profit volunteer group, serving the Mexican/Latino community in New York City. The mission is to provide HIV/AIDS prevention, through education, referrals and advocacy.

Durante la celebración de la Herencia y Cultura Mexicana en City Hall, Nueva York, recibi una procrama ( reconocimiento ) por mi trabajo comunitario. Esta celebración fue realizada por la vocera del consejo Christine C. Quinn, los consejales Annabel Palma, Miguel Martinez, Sara M. Gonzalez, Albert Vann y el Black, Latino and Asian caucus of the New York City Council. Ve los videos.

The Council of the City of New York honors Javier Soriano for his outstanding service to the City and the community...Today, we are immensely proud to recognize Javier Soriano for his dedication, his professional excellence and his contributions that have enriched our City. He is a credit to the Mexican community and is worthy of the esteem of all New Yorkers". This celebration was helded at City Council Chambers, City Hall, New York City by New York City Council Speaker Christine C. Quinn, Council members Annabel Palma, Miguel Martinez, Sara M.
