Thousands of Palestinians and their allies gathered outside the Zionist (Israeli) mission to the United Nations. After the rally, they marched to Times Square and then to Central Park/Columbus Circle in Manhattan, New York City. After the march, some Muslims prayed in Central Park/Columbus Circle.
Activists chanted different slogans demanding freedom for Palestine and showing solidarity with Gaza, Jerusalem and all occupied territories.

On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, the Palestinian Health Ministry in Gaza said the death toll in Gaza had reached 56, including 14 children, with more than 335 wounded.
On Wednesday, May 12, 2021, Fatou Bensouda, the chief prosecutor at the international criminal court, said on Twitter that crimes may have been committed. “I note with great concern the escalation of violence in the West Bank, including East Jerusalem, as well as in and around Gaza, and the possible commission of crimes under the Rome Statute.”
On Friday, May 14, 2021, according to the Gaza health ministry, the number of injured rose to 830 overnight, an increase of 200 in 10 hours. The death toll stood at 119, including 27 children.
The UN said that more than 200 homes and 24 schools had been destroyed or severely damaged in the Gaza Strip in Israeli air raids in the past five days. It also warned that residents’ access to fresh water could be limited because of power cuts and damage to pipe networks.
According to The Guardian, “Israel was also hit by further communal violence for a fourth night with Jews and Arabs clashing in the town of Lod. A synagogue was torched overnight and 43 people were arrested, according to police.
