On Saturday, August 1, 2026, there was a protest in support of the Haitian Temporary Protection Status (TPS) in Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York City. People invited to the protest on August 28, 2026.
“HAITIAN LIVES ARE UNDER ATTACK. On August 1st we rallied in Brooklyn, next Friday at 4pm, we are showing up at Foley Square. Join us in solidarity as we activate to protect our Haitian kin and all of our neighbors impacted by the TPS terminations.
Over 350,000 Haitians nationwide have unjustly lost their TPS status and a million other TPS holders stand to lose their status or have already lost their status. Getting rid of TPS is only one part of a larger agenda to threaten the safety and lives of ALL immigrants who have done nothing but contribute to all of our communities. OUR TPS FAM ARE NOT ALONE. NYC, let’s make one thing clear: IMMIGRANTS ARE WELCOME HERE.
