“Yesterday, Jakhi returned to state court for a pre-trial hearing, where it was revealed that 1) The court had mistakenly confused “22nd of July” with “27th of July” in their schedule and was not prepared to rule on motions from Jakhi’s defense and 2) The prosecution had brought in new discovery and seven more witnesses–violating legal rules stating that additions to witnesses/discovery must be reported in advance by at least two weeks.
